In adherence with recently updated guidance from NYSED, OHM BOCES is excited to unveil the revised format of our Checkpoint B examinations *effective with our 2027 exams*. Participants will become informed about: aligning each part of our examination to a mode of communication, new point distributions, new prompt styles for interpersonal speaking and presentational writing, criteria that we will use for selecting and modifying stimuli in Interpretive Listening and Reading, the number of questions and tasks in each section, samples of our prompts and questions, and more!
