Clonic Seizure

Female patient, 32 years old, admitted to Nguyen Tri Phuong Neurologic Department with syncope 4 days. She told us that in 4 days, she had suddenly fallen when eating or walking, and had had 1 time with slight concussion on the occipital head. Sometimes, an outburst with aura like discomforting in stomach, smelling strange flavour, but no tinnitus or fever. Medical history: being diagnosed Epilepsy in 3 years old. 4 months ago, she had 3 seizures just in the night. Clinical Examination: non focal neurological deficits in the first 2-day examination, except when we tested her trying to walk, she had collapsed by chance, but no unconsciousness in the seizure, and when she lied down, we caught a seizure with unconsciousness, eye movement but no tonic-clonic seizure. However in Day 3, she had a tonic seizure with head and eyes turned into left side, then a clonic seizure happened after that in 2 minutes (video), and recovery phase was recorded by a dull face, extended left foot. She was diagnosed with Atonia and Secondarily Generalized Complex Partial Seizure and should be evaluated with video EEG to find out the lesion location (though lesion is usually in temporal lobe)
