These Sesame Fried Glutinous/Sticky Rice Balls are one of my favorite Chinese Street Food Recipes which is normally used with sesame to enhance the flavor. They are round and bright, brownish red, with caramel flavor, crisp skin and soft inside, and hollow inside. The boss poured a lot of glutinous rice lumps into the big frying pan with brown sugar. He watched it grow bigger and darker. Finally, it was almost reddish-brown. He quickly fished it up with a large colander and sprinkled sesame seeds. The delicious "Fried Sticky Rice Balls" were freshly baked. 20 years ago, when I was a little girl, I was awakened by the sound of "Buying Fried Glutinous Rice Balls". The boss took a bunch of candy and oil fruits from the shelf and handed it to me. I enjoyed it very much.
