Typical Busy Morning

Hello Friends! Here is an update on JJ's day. This morning, JJ was quieter than usual, which can be a sign that he isn't feeling well. He wasn't running a fever, and he seemed fine. He sometimes does have quiet mornings as we all do, and he went off to school with no problems. He has had a good week at school so far and is working for a trip to an Aquarium. When he arrived home from school today, he was in a super good mood and was happy to be back home, to his happy place where he could relax and unwind with his iPad. The teacher forgot to write today's notes in the folder but sent a text letting us know how his day went. JJ attempted to elope during the morning meeting, and they attempted to direct him back to his seat. He got aggressive and scratched a classroom staff and the teacher. Then, the teacher went on to say that JJ turned it around and got some classwork done. He ended it by letting us know that JJ absolutely loved the hamburger and coleslaw that he had for lunch today. Even with the aggression, they considered this to be a fair day for him. If this had been the public school, he would have gotten an incident report and probably would have gotten called to pick him up. We are very grateful that we have chosen ACCEL for JJ.
