After our epic road trip to Key West, we planned a weekend trip upstate camping off-grid in the Adirondacks. We finally had a chance to check out the Moose River Plains area, which offers over 100 dispersed campsites. We were able to leave work early Friday, so we drove up that afternoon, stopping to charge at the new Queensbury Rivian Adventure Network and grabbing dinner at the diner. We arrived to Moose River Plains Camping Corridor in the dark and were able to find a dispersed camping spot without much trouble, but we quickly realized we under packed on the blankets and over packed on the ac! Rookie mistake not checking the overnight low after our Southern escapades! The next day we explored the area, driving the rest of the 23 miles of dirt road, with a highlight being a scramble along a rocky creek. Then we headed to nearby Lake Abanakee to swim and canoe and decided to skip another cold night in the tent and head home that evening. #rivian #rivianr1s #adventurousforever #camping #evcamping #ev
