Doc and Pliant Mahon or Mayhorn were players in the famous Appalachian Hatfield and McCoy feud. They were married to Devil Anse Hatfield's nieces. They were involved in the 3 McCoy boys murders as well as the new years day cabin burning and murder of 2 more of Randall McCoy's children. I'm not saying they killed them. I'm saying they were around. They eventually did time in prison, then got out to resume life. Once they died they seemed to vanish as far as where they are buried.
