I’ve wanted to run this classic – nay - iconic ultra marathon for a long time, and we finally did it! With temperature up in the ~120F / 48C and a course entirely on hard pavement, this one isn’t for the faint of heart… In this ~40hrs journey, I’ve faced countless challenges and setbacks. Nothing went according to plan, but that’s no excuse to quit! Especially that I had tremendous help! This isn’t a solo adventure – far from it! Each runner is supported by their own crew team – and we’ve had a blast at it! Nora, Lucia, Brian and Fanny – none of that would have been possible without you, and I hope this movie does justice to all the incredible work that goes behind supporting me.
