Qionglai City lies between 30°12′–30°33′N latitude and 103°04′–103°45′E longitude, approximately 65 kilometers from central Chengdu. The terrain around Zhougou Village consists mainly of shallow hills and low mountains. It borders Dayi County to the north, Xinjin District to the east, Pujiang County to the south, and Ya'an City to the west. The village is surrounded by agricultural land and natural landscapes, boasting a favorable ecological environment. Qionglai City, where Zhougou Village is located, is one of Sichuan’s four ancient cities, with a history spanning over 2,300 years. Known as the "First Prefecture South of Tianfu," Qionglai has a profound historical and cultural heritage. It is the hometown of the Western Han dynasty’s talented female scholar Zhuo Wenjun and the famous poet Sima Xiangru. The culture of Wenjun liquor and the Tea Horse Ancient Road is widely celebrated here. As a rural part of Qionglai, Zhougou Village inherits the traditions of Bashu culture, with villagers maintaining the simple and honest folk customs typical of Sichuan’s countryside. The village likely hosts local traditional festivals such as the Spring Festival and Dragon Boat Festival. The population is predominantly Han Chinese, and the local language is primarily the Sichuan dialect.
