NEED SHIRTS OR HATS MADE? Email me: Order@TshirtTube.com Follow my Instagram! / kenyonken_ In today’s video, I’m super pumped to take you along as we check out a $20,000 DTG printer – specifically the Brother GTX Pro! If you’re new here and wondering what the heck a DTG printer is, it’s basically this awesome machine that prints full HD designs straight onto t-shirts. No more messing with screen printing that takes forever or dealing with direct-to-film stuff that needs heat pressing. DTG is where it’s at – the prints feel amazing, and it’s just so convenient. I’ve been geeking out over how much these printers have evolved. There are even insane models out there costing $800,000 or $1.2 million that can churn out hundreds of unique shirts per hour! My dream? Snagging one of those million-dollar beasts someday. But for now, we’re diving into the GTX Pro, which is supposed to be faster and more ink-efficient than my old Epson F2100. We’re also taking a peek at the GTX 600 – an $80,000 monster with four print heads for crazy speed and vivid colors. Why do I want one? Well, I’m building my t-shirt website, T-shirt Tube, and having a DTG printer in-house means I can whip up designs on the spot, handle rush orders, and just enjoy that instant gratification of printing something fresh off my computer. We’ve already got over 500 designs ready to go for the site, all made for DTG. Plus, it’s the final piece of gear I’ve been dying to add to the shop alongside our new embroidery machine. I headed over to Hersh Solutions to pick up the GTX Pro, and Jose there was awesome enough to give us a tour and demo the process – from pre-treating shirts to firing up both the $20,000 GTX Pro and the $80,000 GTX 600. I even got to print a shirt myself (it’s been a minute since I last used a DTG printer!), and let me tell you, the speed and quality blew me away. Stick around to see it all go down, and let me know in the comments what you think – is the GTX Pro worth it? Should I save up for that GTX 600? If you enjoyed this, don’t forget to smash that subscribe button and drop a like. Catch you in the next one – peace out!
