It is a piece with a strong narrative structure that comprises five sections, including a prelude that hints at fate, followed by sections on peaceful everyday life, sudden conflicts, the route from despair to redemption, and finally, rebirth. I had obtained the help I needed by being part of a band that took music very seriously when I was unable to see any way forward. When reading this story, I was reminded of what I had felt during those testing times and I decided to compose this piece with my sincere hope that I can create a work for bands like that. For this reason, this work has been imbued with my intense emotions throughout. This piece was composed in the summer of 2006.
