However, it feels stable at all times and confident when correcting slight oversteer when entering a corner hard. -Confort: 9,0/10 Very good. The fabric seats are spacious (semi-electrically adjustable, by the way), and there's plenty of leg and headroom. The suspension is also designed for comfort, with springs and dampers that smoothly absorb road bumps. Rear passengers also enjoy a good level of comfort. -Engine performance: 8,0/10 The x25xe engine enjoyed significant technological advances for its time. With a DOHC twin-cam, 24-valve engine and even a Dual-Ram variable intake system, it produced 170 hp, a very acceptable figure for a 2.5L engine of the time. Overall, it's fast, but the Omega isn't light, so its power can be a bit disappointing at first. The long 5th gear doesn't help either, designed to achieve a good top speed and reduce fuel consumption, but not to recover speed quickly. -Fuel consuption: 6,0/10 Generally speaking, it's quite high; the average at normal speeds is around 10.5 l/100 km, and in the city, it shoots up to over 15 l/100 km. There are modern engines with the same power that consume almost half that amount. Of course, in its day, it was even an efficient car among its competitors, since the consumption of these mega-sedans in the 1990s wasn't a concern. -Build quality: 9,0/10 At this time, Opel maintained quality standards worthy of a premium car, with first-class fit and finishes and materials. After 30 years, there's hardly any looseness, and it has soft plastics on the upper part of the dashboard, wood inserts, and a steering wheel that stands up well over the years... It's a shame the glove compartment locks break so quickly. -Price/what you get ratio: 8,5/10 Now that they're not too expensive, they're a good investment as a classic car, especially these gasoline V6s, which are rare to find since most of the ones left for sale have BMW diesel engines. It's also worth considering as a drift project, but it's a shame to "taint" a car that's so rare these days.
