Getting a camera of this size that had IBIS really made me want to try and find the best possible handheld rig that is still nice and compact and can be packed down/set up really quickly. I've been using the Smallrig cage and top handle for a while now, and it's pretty good for the most part, however I was sent out a side handle by Ulanzi/UUrig and I have to say - I really enjoy using it! This video is about the incorporation of that side handle to my handheld rig, and whether I think a side handle is worth it if you shoot handheld a lot. Sometimes it's cool to get a little bit of camera shake in handheld footage; it gives a more rough and dynamic viewing experience - but of course I wanted to see whether you could also get some nice and smooth shots with this set up too - and you can! Really hope you enjoy this video, and please make sure to leave a comment below if you have any questions. Thanks!
