In this episode, we asked our cast to remember and tell us about their first time seeing Les Misérables as an audience member - and how that single experience led to becoming a realized dream. Dreams do come true! ************************************************** Les Misérables is a cultural phenomenon. Its powerful story of redemption and revolution is as timeless as it is universal - perhaps that's why Cameron Mackintosh's production has been seen in 44 countries, sung in 22 languages and adored by millions of fans across the world. It's the show that even those who say they don't like musicals love. But have you thought about the people who worked on this production over the last four decades? This show is not only a career maker, but apparently it's a matchmaker as well. There are dozens and dozens of families that exist because they met and fell in love while working together on Les Miz. I met my wife during the 25th Anniversary Revival, and recently decided to track down many of the happily married couples and families whose origins all trace back to this epic musical. Since most theater is currently on pause, many of these folks were available and happy to share their stories from the comfort of their own homes. This is a just a small peek into the lives of some who spent many years bringing the magic of this show to a theater near to you.
