Friday at the farm

Doesn’t everyone love Friday? We sure do. We call it Pizza Friday and amongst the pack there doesn’t seem to be any other kind of Friday! Charlie started his morning bright and happy and ready to get out and see his mates! Limo ride to the top of the hill with Adam and then a lift in Dad’s arms the rest of the way. A big smile on his face and a slobbery streak from his buddy Bandit who was particularly excited to have him back in the pack. Tangy the Kelpie organises her farm day around her favourite, the quad run. The Bush walk is for running ahead to the quad and looking back seriously like cmon on guys hurry up! When the engine starts it’s donut time. And then after quad run while everyone is chasing the drone, she sits by the quad, in protest that we should all run again. We received two big boxes in the mail today. Both addressed to the doggies at the farm. They were filled with every wonderful dog toy you could imagine! Even bubbles and big ball for the dam! The dogs were soooooo happy and excited. These gifts have come a long distance. One is from Sylvia in Texas and the other is from Jo and Kai in Western Australia. Thank you so very much Sylvia, Jo and Kai. The dogs today loved them and so will all the dogs next week too! We spent the afternoon in the heated magnesium pool testing out all the new toys from Sylvia, Jo and Kai! They were an absolute hit! The dogs had so much fun jumping in and swimming after them. Each week there are more and more dogs getting in by themselves and getting more and more confident in the pool. It’s the same pattern we saw when we opened the big sports pool for Summer. It’s a great feeling to see the dogs really enjoy an activity or a new area over time. Swimming is always a winner with the pups and they’re loving being able to do this all year round.
