Teaching special education remotely is no easy task. As educators we have the opportunity to come together during this bizarre time and share our resources and ideas with each other. If we are willing to experiment and go outside of our comfort zones, we have a real chance at reaching our students in a meaningful way as we learn to educate them remotely. You definitely don't need everything on this list to make a video, I ended up using what I already had and already knew how to use. I strongly encourage you to just TRY and not get caught up trying to make it perfect, for many students just seeing a beloved teacher on the screen can make a massive difference in their day, no matter what the quality looks or sounds like. FOR VIDEO: CAMERAS: Canon Rebel T2i GoPro HERO3 White Edition LENSES: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 SOFTWARE: Final Cut Pro X SOFTWARE ADD-ONS: Pixel Film Studio's ProAnimation 1 and 2 This is where the animations I used on the Boardmaker pictures came from, you literally drag and drop the animation on top of the Boardmaker picture in the FINAL CUT PRO X timeline.
