Championship Race! I had a 1 point lead over Walter meaning I could afford to finish behind him by one spot as long as he didn’t win. If he won he would get a bonus point and would beat me in the standings by 1 pt. If he finished second or worse and I finished 1 spot behind, I would win with the most wins tie breaker. Fortunately I just won outright so there was not need to sweat it. In heat 2, I was running second behind Bailey and I was content to do so. I knew I was going to start 1st in the feature. My hope was by letting Bailey win he’d get a bonus point and would start in front of Walter, adding a buffer between him and I. But Bailey let me go which was nice of him but messed with my plan. So I let Jimmy go, and he became my buffer. I was definitely faster than him but it was to my advantage to finish second. In the Feature, Jimmy leap frogged me on the pit stop but let me go since I let him go earlier. Walter was fast in the #17 but he pitted 3 times so he screwed himself over. That left me to win the race and capture MY THIRD STRAIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!!!😁🍾🎉🏁 Recorded 11/11/2024 at Full Throttle Adrenaline Park Louisville, KY Format: Two 15 lap heats, followed by a 30 lap feature. Starting spots for Heat 1 for determined by drawling from a deck of cards, and Heat 2 is the inverse order of Heat 1. You gain points based off where you finish in the heats, and whoever has the most points after the heats start first in the feature.
