I Planted Garlic in Raised Beds… But First I Opened the Compost Bags 😳 | Allotment Transformation

In this allotment transformation video, I fill my raised beds with fresh compost and plant garlic grown from cloves into their new home. But after opening the compost bags, I quickly realised the quality was not what I expected… After building the main path and assembling six raised beds in the previous video, today I return to the allotment to continue shaping the plot. In this UK allotment gardening update, I: • Transplant White Casablanca and Germidour garlic into raised beds • Explain why fresh horse manure should not be used for young plants • Deal with very poor quality, dry and dusty compost • Continue building the structure of my allotment plot • Plant late daffodil bulbs between raspberry canes After heavy rain and strong winds, I also check for storm damage and reflect on my slow, low-pressure approach to developing this plot in its first year.
