Getting Job Ready with Internship Support from Purdue's College of Liberal Arts!

Join two Purdue Liberal Arts students for a day in their life as interns exploring their career ambitions. Our Career Services team has helped hundreds of students in all parts of the country make their dream internships achievable so that they can gain real world experience while completing their college education and be better prepared to take on the job market after graduation. Will Messmer and Paige Carter, featured here, are both completing internships this summer with the assistance of our Job-Ready Summer Internship Award. Will is completing a marketing internship with Bowen Engineering. His main role is to create stunning video content for their website. This internship has given him hands on learning in video filming and editing, while also allowing him to travel with the company across the country. Paige’s goal was to work at a National Park. After speaking with Liberal Arts' Career Services, she was able to connect with a Liberal Arts alumnus working for Xanterra Travel Collection. She is now completing an internship in Yellowstone National Park, working with Xanterra’s HR department to help international students find work at Yellowstone National Park.
