[Statue Episode 17] 1/4 SCALE: Captain America--Chris Evans Figure [IRON STUDIOS]

This is the third of four 1/4 scale Avengers I have. This figure is made by Iron Studios. It is 1524 out of 4000. The only other Avenger I haven't shown you is Ironman (Tony Stark). We'll see him in the next episode. He is also from Iron Studios and is part of a three piece set. The only piece I have missing from this set is Thor. However, I am not found of the overweight Thor so I passed on getting him. I am content with these two statues. Captain America has two heads . . . one masked and one unmasked. I prefer the masked one on this statue. It also has two shields--one that is broken into three pieces and one that is whole. I prefer the broken shield. It also comes with Thor's hammer, but I can't bring myself to let Captain America have Thor's hammer (LOL). It also has an optional piece that can be placed in the back of broken-like glass, but I prefer not to have anything jagged in the house with cats roaming around the place. Even though this figure is not in fluid motion, I personally love this particular museum pose. What I love most about this figure is how it is so nicely weathered and texturized. I love the muted colors immensely, and the face is especially nice, especially the eyes even though they may be "slightly" close together, and I do mean slightly if they are too close at all. Still, I do like this face sculpt compared to the unmasked version.
