GUAM Does NOT Feel SAFE Here...

In this video, I try to head out and do some skateboarding before hopefully embarking on other island adventures. Unfortunately, the rain ended the possibilities quite quickly. Instead, I put together a couple days worth of 'trying to go skate' to make a full video. I wanted to show you Guam's Public Skatepark (created by the city). Unfortunately, this skatepark has seen better days. In fact, it is mostly overrun by homeless people (sometimes causing fights with skaters), and destroyed by endless graffiti and trash. The fences that seclude the park are torn up and much of the metal/granite/marble has fallen off, making many parts of the park unusable. And, because of the seaside environment, the salt air and sun eats at the concrete causing it to be a bumpy ride. Moreover, the government isn't doing much to improve the conditions and to make it a safer place for friends and families. I hope the future brightens up for it.
