Keratosis pilaris alba= white chicken skin . Keratosis pilaris pustulosa= chicken skin that looks like zits . Keratosis pilaris atrophicans= chicken skin that has been over plucked . Ulerythema ophryogenes= chicken that occurs on eyebrows if chickens have brows . Erythromelanosis follicularis faciei et colli= red & brown chicken skin on the neck . Atrophoderma vermiculatum= over plucked chicken skin on the cheeks (cross over with AMVC) . Treatment: If it's rough- use lactic acid 10-20%, salicylic acid 2% wash with a loofa. You should grow out of it by 35 yo. Unless you’re Bill Clinton, or Prince Harry, or my brother . If it is inflamed: chuck on some steroid, then hit it with a laser. Be guided by your dermatologist. Laser does not cure it, but can make red areas lighter . If it is atrophic, laser it. The atrophy is usually dermal & responds to fractional laser resurfacing. .
