But this term embraces a broad range that includes fiscal conservatives, social conservatives, Tea Party members, and the Agenda 21 faction. This session will focus on how to communicate the elements of Sustainable Urbanism that advance broad, common agendas, in a way that enables community buy-in. The session will feature conservative journalist Jim Bacon, author of Boomergeddon, who will be joined by the US Green Building Council's Center for Green School's team, which has led an astonishing transformation of 16.6 million square feet of LEED-certified US educational facilities, 65% of them in the last two years with the support of conservatives in many school districts.
