Shanghai welcomed the New Year with its iconic Oriental Pearl Tower Run, as over 1,000 runners raced up the landmark to greet the first day in 2026. Starting from the Oriental Pearl City Square, competitors from men’s, women’s, family and open groups sprinted toward finish lines at the 259-meter skywalk and 90-meter outdoor deck.
