The places we covered on this trip are given below: 1)Phewa Lake: It is the largest lake in the Pokhara valley. The lake is the center of attraction and most enchanting lake among other lakes of the Pokhara valley. The lake is best situated for boating, bird watching and especially photographing the scenic mountains. The excellent setting of the lake and the reflections of the Annapurna Mountain are something no visitor would like the miss on a boating trip. 2) Sarangkot: It is situated at 1500 meters which are a former fort of Kaski Kings. An early morning drive to watch the sunrise is the best-recommended trip. You can enjoy such a magnificent panorama up so close.It is not far from town city of Pokhara. It takes 30min drive in the morning to go there. 3) World Peace Pagoda: This is a most beautiful place of the country Nepal. A massive Buddhist Stupa is situated on top of a hill on the southern shore of Phewa lake. Besides being an impressive sight in itself, the shrine is a great vantage point, which offers a spectacular view of the Himalayas, Phewa Lake, and Pokhara city. 4) Barahi Temple: It is built in the middle of Phewa lake dedicated to the Goddess Baraha – the universal protector is the boar manifestation of Goddess Shakti. Nobody forgets to visit this Barahi Temple. 5)The Boudhanath stupa, Kathmundu: is one of the holiest and most recognizable sites in Kathmandu.Assigned UNESCO world heritage status in 1979, Boudhanath has a diameter of 120 metres, making it the largest temple in Nepal. The stupa is surrounded by prayer wheels, and has colourful prayer flags draped from its 36-metre central spire. 6) Dhulikhel is the major tourist spot of Kavre district and is famous for natural as well as historical reasons. Dhulikhel provides an imcomparable view of the Himalayan ranges, more than other tourist places. It takes about forty five minutes to reach Dhulikhel in a taxi or private car, or two-and-a-half to three hours by bicycle from Kathmandu.
