Hyaluronic acid (HyA) is recognized as an adjuvant treatment for chronic inflammatory disease in addition to its use to improve healing after dental procedures. The biological activity of cross-linked hyaluronic acid (xHyA - Hyadent BG) has been well-researched during the past decades; hyaluronic acid is a safe and easy-to-use biological agent; due to its wide array of properties, it may significantly improve the results of periodontal therapy. I use cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel in case of gingival recessions, infrabony defects, furcation, coronal lengthening, guided bone regeneration (GBR). In the following webinar, we will go throw different dental surgery procedures and when the cross-linked hyaluronic acid (Hyadent BG) gel is found to be beneficial.
