Kristale Braxton, ‘24, has known she wanted to pursue law school since fifth grade, inspired by witnessing an injustice involving a relative, which sparked her desire to fight for justice. Braxton explains that her interest in criminal law stems from a passion for helping others. She chose McGeorge School of Law for its ideal location, strong alumni network, and abundant resources. During Braxton's time at McGeorge, she was involved in Mock Trial and the Anthony M Kennedy American Inn of Court. She also served as co-vice president of the Public Legal Services Society (PLSS) and community outreach chair for the Black Law Student Association (BLSA).
