Physiotherapy Placements... They can be scary and overwhelming. But they are often the best part of the Physiotherapy degree. In this video, I talk you through my Physio Placement experiences and most importantly I share with you the key things that I have learnt over the 3 years of placements while completing my Physiotherapy degree. I go right back to my first year and my first placement, taking you on a journey through my experiences in different settings including Outpatients (MSK and Paediatrics) and Inpatients (Acute and Community). Key things I discuss: My first placement, how I felt before, during and after. Why it's completely normal to feel nervous before placement. How I prepared for placement and what I learnt from preparing well. How to work effectively with your educator and how to get through those tricky times. How to really impress on placement.
