To reach Hassanabad Square, you have to go to the southwest of Tehran, because Hassanabad is located at the intersection of Imam Khomeini or Hafez streets, as well as Vahdat-e-Islami street. Around this square there are four buildings with eight domes that are placed symmetrically and curved next to each other. The construction of these buildings was done by an Armenian named Qelich Baghlian along with another prominent Armenian architect named Leon Tadosian. The circular domes of the square are the work of Master Akbar Nekooght Tak, who was also known as Master Akbar Khaharzadeh. In recent years, many repairs and reconstructions have been done on it, such as the construction of Bank Melli or the paving of all the streets that lead to the square. One of the most important goods of Hassanabad is its major sales center yarn.
