I then put my phone through a 1 minute (30 seconds on each side) UV cleaning cycle in the HoMedics UV-Clean Phone Sanitizer and swabbed it again to see if the UV sanitizer actually did anything? In this video I also compare the UV sanitizers effectiveness to simply cleaning your phone screen using 70% isopropyl alcohol on a cotton ball.
