For our winter getaway this year we switched from Arizona to Malaga Spain. Julie had a video conference so I decided to rent a city bicycle for 4 hours (10 Euros) and do a ride around the city of Malaga on their bicycle path network. It was a fun ride exploring many nontourist parts of the city. Malaga is a beautiful city and its bicycle paths are very nice and separate from traffic. The biggest safety concern would be the pedestrians who walk in the bicycle paths. Although there are many bicycle paths they do not create a natural loop and require piecing a ride together. The best source of the bicycle paths seemed to be Open Street Maps with the cycling layer one (I use the Ride with GPS planning tools which allows you to switch the map layer you are using). One warning, there are more hills in Malaga than you would expect. We rented bikes from Bike Tours Malaga (we also took their city bike tour, which is highly recommended) https://www.biketoursmalaga.com/en/ Ride with GPS: https://ridewithgps.com/trips/112434936 Music: Calle Nueva, Ay Dios from the CD Un Volver A Empezar @callenueva9008 We really enjoyed listening to them play in the port area of Malaga and wanted to give them a little exposure so check them out. Thanks for watching this video. Please like and subscribe as more videos are to come. Comments are welcome, and we hope to learn and improve the content and quality of the videos. BTW, we are not monetizing anything. After working for many years and saving for retirement we are enjoying biking, hiking, and traveling. These videos are to share the incredible things we are experiencing. Rich and Julie http://www.themnmoores.net
