At 1776m high up - Untersberg

At 1776 meters, this is the highest I’ve been in a mountain. Only, we took a cable car to go up, so that was easy. This trip to Untersberg was not in the plan, the mountain got Tom’s attention during our visit to Hohensalzburg fortress. We only expected to go up and see the panoramic view of Salzburg (and Germany). To our surprise, there’s a hiking trail in the mountain (explained the stares I got on my pair of sneakers, skinny jeans, and a coat 🧥 in the first cable car trip in the morning when most, if not all of the passengers are going for the hike).
