Shirley performs one of her hits titled, "I Who Have Nothing" on her 1976 TV Show. She then introduces The Three Degrees who perform one of their hits titled, "Dirty Ol' Man". ABOUT This song: Shirley Bassey recorded the song with producer George Martin as the song by Ben E. King was rising in the chart in the US, and it was released in the UK in September 1963. Her version reached No. 6 on UK and New Zealand and No. 4 in Australia. It also was a top 10 single in Ireland. Bassey performed this song consistently over seven (7) decades in concert. It was included in many of her compilation albums, including a version in her album, "I Am What I Am" recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra, and a version in Spanish ("Hoy No Tengo Nada") in her 1989 album "La Mujer". She has also performed with the song's composer Donida who conducted his own music on Italian television. Although 16 women have been members over the years, the group has always been a trio. The current line-up consists of Helen Scott, Valerie Holiday, and Freddi Poole. The group were particularly successful in the UK, achieving 13 Top 50 hit singles between 1974 and 1985. The original members were Fayette Pinkney, Shirley Porter and Linda Turner. Porter and Turner were eventually replaced by Janet Harmon and Helen Scott and then subsequently by Sheila Ferguson and Valerie Holiday.
