The game featured a lot of improvements over its predecessor with new move animations and better in-ring action being the highlight. In terms of the roster, Smackdown Shut Your Mouth included guys like Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Rob Van Dam Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, Kane and The Undertaker. Each and every character played different to one another, making it way more fun to control your favourite superstars. Season Mode was greatly expanded upon too with your chosen superstar going through the WWE Draft, and a new improved first person mode took your wrestler away from the ring and all the way to Times Square should you decide to make the journey.
