This is the recording of my friends and me playing my song ‘Alone’. I wrote and produced this track by myself, and we recorded it at the Noise Factory Studios. We had a lot of fun doing this! Enjoy and share! :-) Lau • Technical specs • On this track, I'm using an acoustic drum, all triggered with Roland RT-serie triggers, so that I can mix the real acoustic sound with the fat and clear electronic sounds, which is dope. Those triggers are going both in the TD-30 and the TM-2 sound modules from Roland, and I’m swithching from one to another between the verses and the choruses. I’m using some extra electronic pads as well : the KD-140 remote kick, a BT-1 as an auxiliary hihat, and a PD-8 as a clap. This is the most efficient setup on the planet I think. Cymbals : 15’' Meinl Byzance Brilliant Dark hihat, 20’’ Byzance Vintage Trash crash, 22’' Byzance Brilliant medium ride, 20’’ MB20 Medium crash, and 18’’ Byzance Dark china.
