There is no straightforward way of estimating the cost of the actual pieces used in the model, so I settled on a $40,000 estimate based on the cost of obtaining every part used by purchasing GraviTrax sets at retail prices. It would require many extra sets because the model uses large quantities of pieces that are available only in a quantity of 1 or 2 per set (e.g. the build uses 80 PRO narrow walls, which only come 1 per set.) At current retail prices, it would cost ~$38,300 plus sales tax to purchase that many sets, with the total cost exceeding $41,000.
