In our second episode of Dungeon Synth Sunday, we continue the theme of reimagined black metal albums, with a raw release melted into occult ambience, from one of our regular favourite artists. This week we were gifted with the surprise appearance of another full Lamp of Murmuur album. In January we previewed this album with a single track, expecting it to be kept to physical release only, but the Lamp has been kind to us and bestowed the full release in digital form, through Death Kvlt Productions. For the uninitiated, this dark ambient reverie reworks previous Lamp tracks, dissolving the raw guitar riffs into deeply layered, mournful, harrowing and sublime vampiric dungeon synth.
