Tyler Bate got his professional wrestling start at only the age of 15! That is insanity. He debuted in 2012, working small independent promotions around England. In 2013, he would start wrestling at Fight Club Pro (which was owned by Trent Seven), and ATTACK! Pro Wrestling (which was owned by Pete Dunne). Throughout 2014 & 2015, Tyler would capture Championship Gold at many UK-based promotions. Including ATTACK!, Kamikaze Pro, & SWA (where he would also win their British Lions Tournament in 2014). He would form the Moustache Mountain tag team in early 2015 with Trent Seven, which would lead to them making their US debut. Wrestling in Chikara's King Of Trios tournament alongside Dan Moloney, ultimately losing to BULLET CLUB in the semi-finals. His breakout year was seemingly 2016. Moustache Mountain would return to Chikara, and they would capture the Campeonatos de Parejas, holding them for almost 4 months. Trent would also turn his back on Tyler Bate, forming an alliance with Pete Dunne as British Strong Style. This wouldn't last long, as they would quickly scoop Tyler up as their 3rd. He would start working PROGRESS as a mainstay. He would be noticed by WWE, and announced as a participant in a Tournament that would crown the inaugural WWE United Kingdom Champion, which he would go on to win! He would get signed to a WWE deal, but still continued to take independant bookings. Over the next couple years, Tyler would primarily be a Tag Wrestler, and would capture tons of Tag Team gold with Trent Seven. Including in PROGRESS, NXT, ATTACK!, RevPro, FCP, OTT & even IWS in Canada. In 2020, Tyler Bate would stop taking Indy bookings and would start working WWE full-time. His WWE career has had some nice moments, including winning the NXT UK Heritage Cup in 2021, and winning the WWE NXT United Kingdom Title Tournament in 2022 to become a 2x Champion.
