Cruising Overland - Episode 15 - Northern NSW to The Blue Mountains

We met up with mates on the Northern NSW coast. They had a van and we ventured down the coast behind them. The took us on an amazing hike of Minyon Falls and camped in some amazing cheap and free campsites all the way to South West Rocks. Just before Christmas we headed up to NSW Waterfall Way. The 185km Waterfall Way scenic drive links Coffs Harbour and Armidale, passing rainforest, river valleys and waterfalls, including New England and Dorrigo National Parks. We visited Ebor Falls, Crystal Shower Falls and many others, we checked out many lookouts but did not see much! One of the favourite parts was getting the car dirty driving on amazing dirt roads through national parks and retreated back to South West Rocks to enjoy Christmas and to give our home a wash! Heading down the coast of NSW we stayed in many free camps, pubs and local recreational grounds. We drove through the Hunter Valley and around to the Blue Mountains. We didn't quite get the weather we were hoping for, but it was gorgeous nonetheless. More episodes to come. We head back to the coast to try our luck at some more fishing on the coast and then back inland to Kosciuszko National Park.
