This Mercury 2.5 hp 2 stroke outboard wouldn't stay running on my boat. Diagnosing why this outboard doesn't run can be challenging because there could be a lot of things causing the problem. This little two stroke outboard engine for my small boats has been reliable but it also sits for long periods of time.
