Willen Lake, making it the perfect destination for a family day out. Alongside the paid activities such as Splash ‘n’ Play, Treetop Extreme and watersports, there is plenty to enjoy for free. Willen Lake offers a fantastic play area that can be used by children of all ages, all year round. There are also play and trim trails located at different points around the lake. Stop off at the dedicated platforms by the edge of the lake and feed the many ducks and wild waterfowl there; remember to bring seed mixes, tinned sweetcorn, defrosted peas or berries rather than bread as it is bad for them and they struggle to digest it. Willen Lake is the perfect picturesque location for a run or walk – all year round. A circular route around both lakes is approx. 5km, but you can change this up to make it longer or shorter as required.
