Two regions are finalizing rules for hybrid development that take different approaches: Texas (ERCOT) and California (CAISO). While the implications of these rules will directly affect project revenues and operational strategies in these regions, these rules are also likely to influence the rules that other RTOs/ISOs institute for hybrid projects, creating important precedents for the entire storage industry.
