Tie-dye pattern : Bliss (The Powerpuff Girls)

Today I will show you how to tie-dye a Bliss character pattern from the popular 90's cartoon "Powerpuff Girls" on the outside of a spiraled t-shirt. This the 87th shirt in a series of spiral tie-dye t-shirt experiments to see what kinds of patterns we can create with actually making a specific design on the spiraled up shirt. So for this shirt I first demonstrate how to spiral and secure the t-shirt with masking tape. Next I draw on the Bliss design with a washable marker to use as a guide, and then I paint over it with a paint brush dipped in black (Raven) liquid procion dye. After the design is on the shirt, I then move on to applying all of the chosen liquid procion dye colors (displayed in the video) onto the front and back of the shirt. To finish up I let the shirt sit undisturbed for 24 hours, give it a good rinse, and then jump right into the reveal of our new tie-dye Bliss (The Powerpuff Girls) pattern t-shirt.
