(9 Sep 1995) T/I: 10:45:10 Deputies in Russia's state Duma came to blows on Saturday (9/9) as they discussed the crisis in the former Yugoslavia. The lower house had interrupted its summer recess to debate how to respond to NATO bombing of Bosnian Serb positions near Sarajevo. Tempers became frayed and scuffles broke out between members of the LDPR and the liberal deputy Gleb Yakunin. Ultra-nationalist Vladimir Zhirinovsky became involved and could be seen pulling the hair of a deputy from the Women of Russia party. During the debate Foreign Minister Andre Kozyrev was singled out for criticism. Communist leader Gennady Zyuganov called him the "minister of our national shame." Vladimir Zhirinsovsky called for Kozyrev to be sacked.
