Shrii P. R. Sarkar's concept of Microvita has so far been understood as a contribution within the Indian doctrines of wisdom, rooted in a rich spiritual and philosophical tradition, allowing deep insights into the relationships between matter, mind and consciousness. In the following, however, a different approach will be taken: Microvita are to be presented in the context of alchemy and its intellectual developments - as promoted particularly by G. W. Leibniz and E. A. Rauscher. Even if this perspective deprives the concept of its previous exclusivity, it nevertheless increases its connectivity and interdisciplinary relevance. Alchemy, which goes far beyond the refinement of metals, poses central metaphysical questions about the unity of matter, spirit and cosmic order. By embedding Sarkar's microvita concept in this universal discourse, not only does a new spectrum of philosophical perspectives open up, but also a productive exchange with modern sciences such as quantum physics and neuroscience. The parallels with Leibniz's monadology in particular underline the timeless relevance of Sarkar's ideas. They contribute to a new understanding of the subtle relationships between energy, matter and consciousness and provide important impulses for an interdisciplinary dialog that bridges the gap between traditional knowledge and modern science.
