Yet, there remain to be millions of such marginalized children who are forced to beg regularly on the streets of India. They are often denied the privilege of education or even affection and, the lives of many are ravaged by the cruel shackles of tobacco and other substance addictions. The story revolves around one such young girl, Imli, and her journey towards a better tomorrow.
