AOCB 2025 Winter Wonderland Trailer

A W i n t e r W o n d e r l a n d Original Concept, Design and Choreography: Crystal Petzel Premier December 2010 The Story of A Winter Wonderland Deep in the woods, on the cusp of autumn's transition to a glorious winter, the Winter Fairy along with her Snowflakes and Ice Sprites, blanket the land with snow and turn the lake into ice. The children from the village are drawn to the lake at the first sign of winter, but are unsure if it is safe for skating. They send out one of their friends, Béatrice, to test the ice. Unfortunately, Béatrice doesn’t know how to skate and they tease her and laugh when she falls. The boys from town come to the forest to see what the girls are doing, but they would rather play hockey than skate around and around. When one finally scores a goal, the happy children celebrate by skating and playing together in the fresh snow. When the children head back to town to warm up, Béatrice finds herself lost in the woods. Scared and cold, she looks for her friends but cannot find her way home. Alone on her sled, she begins to cry until she notices she is under the cover of the beautiful Aurora Borealis and the Woodland Creatures emerge to keep her company. Suddenly, Varg the Alpha Wolf and her Wolf Pack appear from the deep forest and surround Béatrice. Wanting to keep Béatrice for herself, Varg commands her wolves to capture Béatrice. Hearing Béatrice's cries for help, the Winter Fairy arrives and fights Varg to save her. The wolves cower in the Winter Fairy's presence and crawl off to their caves. With Béatrice safe, the Winter Fairy leads her to the magical Winter Wonderland where the Mistletoe Maiden and Peppermint Princess welcome Béatrice. They invite her to dance with all the enchanted Wonderland citizens. Jack Frost befriends her and teaches her how to skate. The Winter Fairy is happy to see everyone celebrating the Spirit of Winter and they all dance late into the winter's night.
