Welcome to my first YouTube video for July! I decided to make a pretty simple programming/microcycle design related video here, this time on the placement of primary days throughout a training week. There are multiple avenues to go within this topic. But for this video, I specifically cover why an "end of week" primary day may be the best for certain athletes. I cover two main reasons for this: 1) to heighten predictability relative to when someone is competing, and 2) to compliment someone's sensitivity to intensity and/or their leverages on a given lift. I also provide 4 brief examples/case studies of 2 male, 2 female lifters that I coach where I have my own unique reasoning for an end of week primary session that fits within those two aforementioned reasons.
