The real adventure begins today! In this vlog, we finally pick up our campervan and hit the road on our Adelaide to Perth road trip! Our first order of business is a tour of our new home on wheels, followed by a big grocery shop to stock up for the journey ahead. With the van packed and ready, our first official stop is the incredible Lake Bumbunga, South Australia's famous pink lake! We capture some amazing photos of this natural wonder before continuing our drive north towards Port Augusta. Along the way, we make a stop at the Matthew Flinders Red Cliff Lookout for stunning coastal views. Once in Port Augusta, we explore the fascinating Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden, showcasing the unique flora of Australia's dry regions. As the sun begins to set, we find a fantastic spot for our first night of freedom camping just outside of Port Augusta.
