Please hit that subscribe and like button --- Previously on 6th Street, 'Bon Shabu' has moved over to Wilshire Blvd. It looks like it's gotten much bigger, and cleaner. We went at an off-time on a Sunday afternoon, but the seats were all quickly filled. We chose the "signature selection". Honestly, I don't really see a big difference between the Wagyu and regular beef at most BBQ places. Unless it's A5 grade, it's pretty much the same, so we ordered the "signature". *Sorry...I couldn't remember some of the meats that were ordered in between because they brought it out all at once. Thank you for your understanding* Skirt steak, beef belly, pork belly can easily be differentiated among the other meats. The interior is very nice and large, with a long buffet style setup in the middle with a large selection of vegetables and noodles that can be enjoyed with your shabu shabu. They also have other cooked dishes, and the "tteokbokki" (spicy rice cakes) and "tangsuyuk" (sweet and sour crispy pork) were good. The meat was sliced very thin so we finished each plate super fast. Of course it's AYCE so it's understandable. The quality of the meat is good, and the broth was also good, but the 'sukiyaki' broth was a bit below my expectations. It was still alright. I usually enjoy grilled meat, but once in a while crave a "healthier"(?) alternative such as shabu shabu. --- #bonshabu #shabushabu #losangeles
