"Highlander Renegade" is a non-profit, non-commercial, independently produced fan film set within the Highlander Universe. Synopsis: The Game is resurrected as the battle between immortals continues! 2241 A.D. - time for the next Gathering. Immortals are once again summoned in armed combat to battle for the Prize. Action Coordinators: Samurai Tribe Starring: Davis Noir and Shin Francois "Highlander Renegade,” was inspired by the Highlander films starring Christopher Lambert as Connor MacLeod and director Yoshiaki Kawajiri’s anime feature film adaptation. There was no budget, nor crowd funding for the following endeavor. We filmed during the height of COVID-19, exercising caution and implementing a form of protocols for safety while filming. Even more challenging were the extremes and dedication our director, Francois, went through in isolation to complete the film. From preproduction, filming, post production and VFX; every step of the process was entirely done on Francois' own per usual. Like his previous feature film "Mystery & Mischief," "Highlander Renegade" was a huge undertaking to say the least. Viewer discretion is advised.
